OMG!!! NOT again.....

Popular OAP Charles Bruce Chukuma, also known as Chaz B is dead. The shocking news which was made known by  DJ humility on twitter, has also been confirmed on STV.

He died this morning November 22nd, 2014 from kidney failure.

The beloved OAP rose to fame with his radio interactive show on Inspiration FM. His show allowed his listeners to call in to discuss and share touching life issues. He however moved to Rhythm in April this year where he continued to touch lives through his show.
His sudden death has left  many of his fans in shock as he was said to have still been on radio yesterday. It was business as usual until when at a point during the show he excused himself, saying that he wasn’t strong enough to continue the show, and told Chike his colleague to takeover.

He signed out by saying:”See you on Monday”.
Sadly, this afternoon, Silverbird television broke the news of his death.
With a distinct voice purring through the Lagos airwaves, Chaz B’s hallmark show is “SHARING LIFE ISSUES WITH CHAZ B”, which earned him the prestigious Nigeria Media Merit Awards for 2010 as the best On Air Personality in Radio and the show is rated the number one show across the city of Lagos.
‘Listening to Chaz B during our conversation was like listening to a clergyman, a man of strong moral conviction and religious beliefs. And you begin to wonder if he is an ordained priest, and if he is, what is he doing in broadcasting’ (Culled from his interview with digicast magazine).

Chaz B continues to be a strong voice through his program, ‘Sharing Life Issues with Chaz B’, which airs on the Rhythm Radio Network every Monday to Friday at 6.15pm, as well as other network programs in the works.
Chaz had  a history of kidney health problems and underwent a successful kidney transplant in 2012 after receiving a kidney donation from his wife.
Really sad and heart breaking. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

For My G.Ma - Felicia

I never knew I would miss her this much. People never understood why I love Christmas. I didn’t quite get it too – apart   from the bursting joy of the birth of Christ, the melodious songs and beautiful decorations; there was more to the super hyper and lovey-dovey feeling I always have this season. So, I was scrolling through my phone gallery and saw the last photo I had with my G.Ma. Oh by the way, Christmas was her birth and death day. I’m writing this because of her. Just to share a bit of her awesomeness with you. That woman was a bad-ass! Reminiscing on my childhood memories with her, I realized she was the reason I love Christmas. I usually spent my Christmas and New-Year holidays with her as a child. She would take me to her church and ask the priest to allow me join other children in the Christmas carol rehearsals and performances. She would take me to the salon and have my hair done and accessorized. I hated making my hair, it was just too stressf...

Hello there!

Is it too late to say happy new year😥?! I mean, a quarter in the year 2021 is almost over, so I will let this mushy feeling slide, and let’s say I will pretend like I have been writing and written to you all these while.    Happy? Yes.    So, what have you been up to?  As for me, after the whole #EndSARS movement, I just literally had this block. In fact, I wrote a couple of things in my notebook but just couldn’t bring myself to sharing here.  I was beyond devastated, as many people – Nigerians were.    Anyways, before and since then, I was also doing a lot of thinking, studying, and preparing for a professional examination, which I wrote and passed in December, last year – yay!! Then, I have just been having ideas on a lot of things I would have loved to share with you but you know what they say about procrastination. Yea….got the best of this relationship!   I’m sorry.  Now, I hope to be more consistent – I know I have said that a mi...
