The World Unknown...

Into the world unknown,

I go deep in search,

for virtue, success and fulfillment.

The deeper I go,

more confusing it goes.

At the cross road,

I stand in a quandary,

Left;

I feared to be behind…

Right;

might just be too wrong to be…

Back;

too scary to go…

Front;

unsure of what lies there…

Heart broken,

loud empty as the barrel,

too loud to be ignored.

I look up with eyes closed,

and searched with in,

for an answer to an unending question,

in the world unknown,

where i search deep

and deeper for a life!

I never knew I would miss her this much. People never understood why I love Christmas. I didn’t quite get it too – apart from the bursting joy of the birth of Christ, the melodious songs and beautiful decorations; there was more to the super hyper and lovey-dovey feeling I always have this season. Is it too late to say happy new year😥?! I mean, a quarter in the year 2021 is almost over, so I will let this mushy feeling slide, and let’s say I will pretend like I have been writing and written to you all these while. Happy? Yes. So, what have you been up to? As for me, after the whole #EndSARS movement, I just literally had this block. In fact, I wrote a couple of things in my notebook but just couldn’t bring myself to sharing here. I was beyond devastated, as many people – Nigerians were. HEAT WAVE IN INDIA

A deadly heatwave in India is showing no sign of easing. 800 hundred people have been killed and that figure is rising. With temperatures reaching 48 C (118F), authorities are urging people to stay indoors and drink plenty of water. Most of the deaths are in the southern states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
